Our patent
The novelty, the development process, the innovation and the improvement of the 100% Silk padding T.Silk has been recognized and formalized through the registration of the Italian and European Patent. Historical, chemical-physical and applied research studies have led our company to recognize Silk as an optimal fiber, capable of guaranteeing high and unparalleled levels of performance, comfort and sustainability for the padding field.
Cosetex research has codified a process that involves, in a natural way, the modification of the molecular bonds of the Silk structure, to obtain a gradual and controlled detachment of highly performing silk fibrils, exponentially increasing their density per cm2. The creation of a wadding with a differentiated veil structure with orthogonal and longitudinal bonds of cohesion, softness and resilience, has allowed to enhance the levels of thermo-physiological comfort without affecting the naturalness of the fiber.

T.Silk® padding
Our technology always guarantees maximum comfort and the achievement of the perfect temperature in any environmental condition. Ideal for applications in the fields of home textiles, furnishings and bedding, fashion accessories and clothing, sports, technical and outdoor, beauty and wellness and for acoustics and soundproofing.
Hypoallergenic and perfectly compatible with the body and the skin, it maintains heat and promotes breathability to ensure unparalleled well-being.
The 100% Silk padding, the result of the T.Silk® patent, allows you to regulate temperature in a totally natural way based on the body's conditions and the different external climatic situations, releasing only the excess accumulated humidity into the external environment.
In addition to its perfect fit in terms of shape and structure, our padding has very high thermal, electrical and acoustic insulation properties.
T.Silk® Technology
Comfort is the degree of well-being offered by a product and is determined by the sensation perceived when it comes into contact with our body.
One of the fundamental elements is the so-called “thermo-physiological comfort”, which represents the interaction between thermal resistance (ability to retain heat) and evaporative resistance (breathability). This value is called IMT and is between 0 and 1. A value of 0 means that the material cannot be crossed by water vapor. A material with an IMT value of 1 has the thermal resistance and water vapor resistance of a layer of air of equal thickness.
The warmth and breath of Silk
Thanks to its 100% natural silk composition and formulation, T.Silk® has a very high water vapour permeability index (IMT): between 0.80 and 0.90 (considered in a min. range 0.00 max 1.00) which is difficult to find in other materials, even those with the highest technical performance.
Even in very low-weight padding, which allows for extremely light and soft garments, T.Silk® shows a high thermal resistance value.
Our innovation combines high breathability with an incredible ability to retain heat.

The comfort you need
T.Silk® is the padding that innovates the perception of comfort by guaranteeing significantly superior cooling and heat release times compared to the best padding currently on the market.
The T.Silk® innovation also exploits the characteristics of its protein component, Fibroin, as a perfect thermoregulatory element, making it more available.
A perfect modulation and balance is achieved with respect to the body's heat production and external weather conditions: greater release in case of excessive accumulation resulting from an increase in physical activity, or greater retention in case of adverse external weather conditions.
A natural laboratory capable of guaranteeing the perfect level of comfort for the well-being of our body.
Excellent ability to adapt its structure to both the morphology of the human body and the design of the product.
