Material ConneXion

Material ConneXion was founded in New York in 1997 by George Beylerian. The project has created a worldwide organization with a permanent independent observatory focused on innovation, design and sustainability, supervised by a board of independent experts who are looking all over the world for materials, products and projects that can fully reflect these characteristics.

MaterialconneXion means:

A jury of independent experts select the best qualified products monthly to be included in the library and in the database, based on their uniqueness, sustainability and innovation in the applications.

OEKO-TEX^®

The International Association for Research and Testing in the Field of Textile Ecology (OEKO-TEX®) is a union of 16 independent research institutes in the textile field and analysis laboratories located in Europe and Japan. It was formed in the early 1990s as a reaction to the non-existence of reference standards and labels.

A board of independent experts research, select and identify the products to be subjected to a rigorous technical judgment in order to determine their propensity and characteristics to be included in the database.
A jury of independent experts select the best qualified products monthly to be included in the library and in the database, based on their uniqueness, sustainability and innovation in the applications.
